New York style On2 classes to be launched on Tuesday 6th July here in Dubai.
James & Alex have been instrumental in bringing On2 to Dubai and have already encouraged many dancers to add this style to their repertoire. Since James & Alex and their team Mambo Clasico perform and dance socially On2 it has got many people attracted to the style and lately have been inundated with requests to teach On2 classes.

It’s official… Salsa has landed on the 8th wonder of the world!
As there is no World Cup matches on Wednesday 30th June, we are holding another Cabana salsa night this month.
So get ready for an evening full of Salsa, Mambo, Latin Jazz, and Bachata played by no other than our very own DJ Najib and this week DJ Saif will be returning to join him. But before the party begins, we will be giving a FREE BACHATA CLASS for everyone, from 9-10pm.This event is absolutely free and everyone is welcome! Cabana offers some of the most reasonably priced drinks in Dubai, and a special menu on that night will be available for Salseros.

If you guys haven’t been yet, it is time to come and visit our Saturday night salsa parties at Zinc, Crowne Plaza Hotel, from 9 – 12 pm. You will have the opportunity to experience some real classic mambo and Latin Jazz, played by our very own DJ Najib, and witness some incredible dancing by some of Dubai’s finest dancers. Feeling a little shy? No worries, there’s always a corner you can go to where no one will bother you and what’s more, until 11, it’s Happy Hour, so buy one, get one free!!
We will be holding auditions for BOTH teams on Friday 11th June, from 5.30-6.30pm, in our studio in the Al Manhal Clubhouse, between Shoreline buildings 3 and 4, on Palm Jumeirah.
You will be required to learn a short piece of choreography, in order for us to assess your current skills, as well as your ability to pick up choreography.

We have had a great couple of years with our team Mambo Clasico, which is constantly evolving and surpassing itself year on year! And we thank every one of our members for all their hard work and commitment, because without them, our vision could have never become reality.
We now feel it’s time to continue moving forward by introducing a secondary team – Mambo Clasiquito – which will basically be our semi-pro team. The idea behind this team is to educate new dancers to potentially become a part of our pro team, if they are not yet at a standard to perform with Mambo Clasico.
Practices will be more strict then those for our student shows, but less tough than our pro team’s, so that member gradually get a taste of what could be awaiting them if and when they get “promoted”. We will mainly focus on increasing everyone’s flexibility, spinning techniques, general leading and following skills, styling and body movement, as well as learning to dance On2, and there will also be performance opportunities.

After an increasing demand to run kids classes, we’ve decided to go for it and prepare our youth to become the next generation of salseros!!
Introductory Class
We are launching the classes with a FREE introductory workshop on Saturday 8th May, 3.30pm – 5pm, in our studio on Palm Jumeirah. Kids between 7 and 14 years of age are welcome to attend; no prior sign up required.
Regular Classes
The regular classes will be held on Tuesdays, 5 – 6 PM starting on Tuesday 11th May 2010 in Al Manhal Clubhouse, Palm Jumeirah. Please make sure to arrive a few minutes before 5pm to register; no prior sign up required.
